Our AFT, a port style wine, is a tribute to Rick's late father who at the age of 16, like so many young men of his era, found himself in the second world war traversing the Pacific dodging submarines and hostile forces.
VINEYARD: Kozier Organic Vineyards, Naramata BC (Certified Organic)
ALCOHOL BY VOLUME: 18.1 % (375ml bottle)
WINEMAKING: Made from Merlot grapes fortified with Grappa at 87.6% ABV and organic cane sugar | This wine has been aged in Oak for 4 years.
TASTING NOTES: Ripe blackberries, plums, black cherries, nutmeg and cinnamon. Lingering hints of violets appear at the finish to complete this complex and supple wine.
